We really enjoyed staying at this property! The property was very clean upon arrival and we appreciated the amenities. We also enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants from the convenient location. The host was also very responsive and helpful whenever we had questions.

Lovely property

We stayed at this home for a short 2 day getaway and it was perfect. Very clean and nice amenities. The bed was super comfortable. The layout of the house was great. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to another visit.

Very nice place! Was clean upon check in, towels, amenities all there. Smart TV. Kudos on the coffee maker with lots of pods available! Location not far from the university and downtown, but also out of the way. Delivers what it promises!

This is an old house that has been nicely restored. Neighborhood is old but I think it is also being restored. We felt safe. Close to UD and Miami Valley hospital. We stayed there for my husbands reunion.

Super comfortable beds, good price, good to visit U Dayton. I didn't receive a lock code or wi-fi password ahead of time - I did look everywhere in email and in the app I booked it through - but host very responsive when we called for assistance to enter upon arrival after dark.

Overall the stay was decent. Street parking was required. The owner didn’t cut the grass and we wanted to enjoy the backyard and use the grill but didn’t due to bugs in the high grass. The outside trash can was very full, barely could fit our trash in it. The bathroom could have been cleaner, there was alot of dead bugs in the shower. There is only one farm door for the bathroom and bedroom next door. The location was great though.

Nice Place

The Cozy 2 Bedroom Abode in Historical South Park was a nice place. I stayed alone, so it had plenty of room for me. I like staying in vacation homes versus hotels because I like having a yard and the option to cook and prepare my own meals in a kitchen. My biggest gripes: there was not a remote for the television, and the place had a very hard time warming up. I haven't been to Ohio in a long time, I am from Texas so maybe the cooler temps took me aback. I couldn't get the place over 70 degrees. Overall, it's a solid place to stay. The neighborhood was nice, safe and quiet.

Okay Stay

The house is located in a nice part of town. You’re close to restaurants and shops. The house itself needs some attention though. We arrived at night and there were no lights to help us see the house. The beds are super uncomfortable. They’re very hard. The house was really cold. We couldn’t get it to warm up. There are ants in the kitchen and bathroom. There isn’t much privacy with the barn door being utilized for both the bedroom and bathroom. Due to how uncomfortable the beds are, I would not stay here again.

A little bit too cozy

The place was clean, beds were comfy, location to the Air Force Museum was convenient. However, there were some details that needed attention. More specifically, the sliding bathroom door that is used either on the bathroom or the second bedroom was terrible. There was absolutely zero privacy while using either room. Do something different with that! Extend the rail and put two separate sliding doors that can be closed independently of each other. And a hook and eye closure on the door to the bathroom.

Dayton Diversion

Good location on quiet street. Had dinner at Jimmie's Ladder 11 restaurant. Great recommendation and so convenient. Enjoyed the architecture of this historic home.
