“Good location and close to old town, parking available with limited space. Good breakfast and the attitude of hosts are cool. Hosts didn't allow to extend the parking to 2-3 hours after check out at 1000. Their check in time is after 1500 and the hosts reject the request looks cold attitude. It's the first time we didn't allow the parking extension we stayed in UK for past 5 stops.”

“The location is really good. Its just a short walk into york. Free parking was a bonus. The room itself was nice but the pictures advertised on Expedia were definitely a false representation of the actual room. I chose the room as it stated it had a four poster bed and a bath with jets. Image my disappointment when i walked in and found a normal bed and a walk in shower with no bath in sight. I spoke with the owner who seemed unaware the rooms details had not been updated. “I had an excellent experience.
The landlord, Qin, was very enthusiastic and helpful in solving our problems.
The property I stayed in was located on the first floor, right next to the reception.
The room wasn’t very big but was cozy and warm.
It had a bathtub with plenty of hot water available.
The Wi-Fi wasn’t lightning-fast, but it was sufficient—I even managed to host a phone meeting one morning.

“The staff were very helpful & friendly. The hotel rooms are a bit dated but very clean and the bed very comfortable. The dressing table has no lamp or light nearby, so it is hard to get ready, appying make up as the bathroom light isn't great either. There is a pub across the road which played loud music until 2am plus lots of noise outside first thing because of the main road. Saying that, we enjoyed our stay . The hotel is in a great location close to the sites if you don't mind the noise.……
