Beautiful Beach Community!

Perfect beach house decorated in complete beach decor. So fun! Not on the beach but SUPER close. It’s right off the path to the private beach access or you can drive and park at the private beach if you have lots of beach stuff. We LOVED the location and hope to visit again!

We loved it!

It is in a great location. A family friendly environment. Very close to stores and plenty of options for food. Traffic was a little crazy at certain times otherwise we can not wait to visit again.

Very spacious and well laid-out for our needs.

I loved all the sleeping space with the twin/full bunk bed as well as another full bed in one bedroom. It suited our needs for a girls-only getaway with two elderly moms along for the week. The only downside was having the second-floor unit and tackling the stairs. But fortunately, they were easy enough with the landing halfway. Overall it was a very pleasant stay! I’d love to stay again in the near future!

Not really dog friendly

The dog can’t go to the beach, you have to drive to Walton county. Dogs are limited on things they can do and places they can be. Some residents dont seem to like visitors or dogs. The 9 home chip and putt course was amazing Long long walk to do things and the drive is congested.

Home was okay

The home was mostly clean. The master had a mildew smell like the sheets were left in the washer for a week, then dried. It would have been nice to have a couple of coffee filters as most places we stay provide those. Sliding door in the living area didn't slide. Screen off of patio in bedroom had a large hole. The pools were nice. Our condo was on the main street so lots of traffic and noise. The living room furniture was comfy. Son stated the spare room queen size mattress had a huge dip in the middle. The beach was beautiful but had to cross the highway to get to it. The place overall was nice but probably won't return.

Great Destin Home

The condo was redone with beautiful counters, faucets, decor, bedding. Very comfortable beds and living room furniture. Nice outdoor deck furniture. The location was perfect. 1st row of condos behind beach from ones. Can see the ocean a little between the buildings in front. Close to main road but nice fenced in grassy area for kids/pets. Totally gated. Private beach access is so nice. No trouble if you want to drive finding a place to park. We walked unless my 77 year old mom came then we drove her. Very walkable though. Rick’s sand bar had good food and drinks. Basic things but shrimp taco excellent and only $5. Ramps available all the way to the sand. Very safe location and not as crowded as resort areas. Close to end of island. Just 5 min drive. Will go back for sure!!

Nice Beach Trip and Stay

The best thing about the condo was the location and the washer/dryer. We have stayed at Sandpiper for several years, and we always have a lot of clothes to wash. This time it was a breeze because of the above quality appliances. The worst part about this trip was the AC unit struggled to get the condo cooled. It ran the entire 6 days we were there. I'm not sure it got below 75 even at night. We made it work with box fans. It was still a great condo and a great vacation.
