Great Location

Great location, private beach. Parking was not great but that has nothing to do with the room. It was very hard to find parking every evening. Everything you need away from home was stocked in the kitchen. Fridge has ice maker. Room was well cleaned.

My wife and I had a wonderful time in Destin and found the property to be exactly as advertised. The property was clean, the furniture could use an update but it was fine. The location was great and the staff within the property were very nice and accommodating.

The property was phenomenal love the restaurant. I just wish the property would add the beach chairs in with the cost. So you want have to pay for beach chairs.

Everything was satisfactory from the moment we checked in. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was a little uncomfortable for a full week's stay, so we ended up buying a little mattress topper from the Walmart right down the street and it worked wonders. We would definitely book here again!

Great Spring Break

My 16 yr old son and his friends had a great time! I let them do their thing and rested and relaxed. Unit has a handful of things that were aged, but we adapted. Mattresses were terrific. Perfect for our purpose and price was great. Close to everything you need and quiet at night...security does a great job. Nice restaurant and small store in lobby.

Need a little more cleaning before check-in.

We love our stay, and the condo looks good. The only complaint is that it needs a little more cleaning. The floor was too dirty, the kitchen sink smell bad and the dishwasher also was smelling old water. Other than that, it was fun.

The chair rentals are outrageous it’s a racket. If you bring own chairs you have to be behind the third row of chairs.

Everything was great, the only thing I would get better is the cleanness of the unit. Nothing really bad, just the floor was really dirty (like black dirty) and the sink in the kitchen was smelling bad water. Everything else was just fine.

Issue after issue

We arrived at 4pm and the unit was ready. Great! We unload and security notices a guest smoking a cigarette at the balcony ledge. No smoking "inside" the unit was what were told at check in. No notification of the smoking area was told to us. Then we had to contact maintenance for 4 days straight because the air conditioner went out. They were responsive but one night I had to have a fan brought up for my daughter on the sleeper couch. It was a total construction zone and after I was told 3 times I would not have to worry about it disturbing me sleeping in till 9ish. Oh no! They were drilling and scaling the wall at 8 am! Awful!

Location to beach was great

The location to the beach was great, the property was dated. The toilet leaked and the fire alarm went off due to battery needing to be changed. We had to keep the bathroom doors closed because the other bathroom made a loud noise throughout the night. The microwave needs to be replaced. We were fine because we were not in the unit much. But if you come to relax you want up to date furniture and living quarters for the price they charge. There was spray paint on some of the furniture and floors. They really need to do some updating!!!

We had a great time, the location was perfect! Staff at Sun Destin was very friendly and helpful. We loved being right on the beach! Will definitely consider staying there again! Only negative was the restaurant was not open during our stay.
