“Perfect property for a family gathering. Lots of space inside and for dining. Parking was great outside the back of the house for all three cars each day.”

“The property was great, very spacious with plenty of room for our extended family, 7 people total. Everything was well taken care of. The kitchen was very well stocked, and communication was great. Location was terrific, with lots of great shops and restaurants. One thing to be aware of is that there are several flights of stairs to get to the flat. That was a bit of a surprise, but we were able to manage it.”

“An excellent property, very homely, cosy and welcoming. Would definitely return. Found laundry basket, spare mattress covers and oven gloves in main bedroom. Not a great problem at all, but think these items were inadvertently left at the changeover clean. But this is not an important criticism - the property was wonderful.”

“This was the perfect place for a long weekend away. The place was incredibly cozy, and provided a lovely place from rest and relaxation. The bathtub is AMAZING and the location was perfect - beautiful views all round, a lovely walk along a river, and a pub! It was nice to not be right in the centre of Bakewell but was still incredibly convenient. Highly recommend!”

Warm , clean and very well equipped.Very close to the town for wandering to the shops, pubs etc. & opposite a lovely park and some great dog walks (we headed for the Monsal Trail)Super comfy beds and lovely en-suite bathrooms in every bedroom.. always a big plus when there are lots in the group. “Nice quirky barn conversion and on a working farm if you like that sort of thing. Not well signposted and accessed by a farm track I wouldn't like to negotiate in winter. Given it's a twenty minute walk into Cromford a few tea bags and milk would have been welcome when we got there. Wine nice touch, tea facilities essential. Yes we could have taken our own.. Enclosed shared courtyard good for the dog. Located in a World Heritage site it's ideal for exploring the Derwent Valley including……

“We had a fabulous holiday at the Loft. Beautiful property. Wonderful hosts, who supplied the excellent wecoming pack. The property is centrally located for lots of lovely walks, cycling, and visiting the Peaks, even in Winter there's ample to do.The local village shop is excellent for essentials, and for a nice coffee and cake break, the villagers are lovely and friendly greeting us with a smile" hello, morning afternoon" . “Very convenient location for Alton towers- spacious- well equipped. Only downside is parking is about 5 min walk away (but knew this when we booked)- Only really a pain for unloading and packing up. Ashbourne is lovely and it’s in a great location near shops, pubs, restaurants ”

“Property was very nicely decorated with a cosy feel with contemporary fixtures and fittings. Location was great - nice and rural, but close to Tideswell and Monsel Head. In the couple of days we were there we visited Bakewell, Hathersage and walked Castleton and Mam Tor. We love the area and would certainly stay here again. ”
