「Breakfast staff slightly off-hand but breakfast good. Room, shower, bed all very good.」

「We had a two night stay at the Welbeck Hotel. Whilst the decor in the room appeared dated, it was very clean and bathrooms appeared to have been recently renovated. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend.」

「Lovely hotel on the sea front. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Shops, restaurants, steam railway all within walking distance. The breakfast was excellent. The complimentary soft drinks and snacks were a nice touch. Room was adequate for a 1 night stay, lovely bathroom & comfortable bed. Would return again and recommend to others」

「Room was fine, clean and comfortable, overlooking the very attractive atrium. Great bathroom. Breakfast was ok but not great. Food in Bonzai restaurant was very good but staff seemed indifferent (prawn crackers arrived after first course; main courses not served together). Fish and chips in Sir Norman Bar was awful- horribly greasy. Lift broke down each day of our stay.」

「I had a lovely view of Douglas’ beach and sea front. The room was cleaned to a high standard and the breakfast was excellent. The host was very helpful and charming. The property has four floors but the lift is out of action. I have stayed twice now and not been disappointed.」
