“it is a good economical choice for bikers passing through. It is not fancy, but it was clean, safe and quiet, my three top priorities. The price range of a hostel, but with the privacy that you would prefer. Staff was easy to get a hold of and they were friendly and kind. There was a nice restaurant right next-door and there’s a cool art gallery/coffeehouse in the area called Tissue Farm. ”

“Aunt Gertrude's House (perfectly named per another review) is an older home but super clean. Updated main bath and comfy beds. Excellent location on the GAP trail - Salisbury Viaduct, Big Savage Tunnel. In the off season not much is open in town or off the trail in the beginning of the week. We will be sure to stay again. Karen is a great host.”

“What a beautiful home! If we needed a place for a larger group I would absolutely stay here! We only needed a very small space so we stayed in the basement room which was perfect...large bathroom, laundry, kitchen and right on the river! Definitely a winner!”
