"What a pleasant surprise this turned out to be. The thoughtfully decorated rooms and halls and staircases – breakfast at your door – the charm of staying in a piece of old Providence. I just can’t recommend this place highly enough and do not see myself staying anywhere else next time I’m in town. "

"We loved our stay here! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, clean, and spacious. A perfect mix of historical charm and modern amenities. So many thoughtful details were considered throughout our stay such as fresh baked cookies at check in a lovely coffee/tea/snack area and newspapers available in the morning. Breakfast was great and parking was free and convenient. We only stayed one night as we were in town for a concert, but would definitely return...

"We had a lovely stay. The view was beautiful, and bed extra comfy! We enjoyed your drive into newport and was nice to get off the beaten path and stay somewhere new. The cutest coffee shop right down the street - Groundswell. Would stay here again!"

"Firstly we’d like to say that the photos do not do the property justice. The place is in a lovely setting surrounded by Cranberry Ponds. Peace and tranquility reigns here, and it’s the ideal bolt-hole when if you’ve been out and about all day, you can unwind with a beverage and watch the sun go down and the wildlife frolic. We were made to feel so welcome, and made to feel like we were part of the family. The Breakfasts were fabulous, and it was brilliant to sit with our hosts and put the world...

"It's in a basement and there was a door to another part of the basement that was locked and we could see a light that was on all night on the other side. It was very quiet though, great if you just need somewhere to sleep."

"Doug was a great host. He gave us great insight into little compton and all the great sights surrounding it. A very nice little upstairs stay with a lot of space and some cool VHS ( Top Gun!). I highly recommend"
