“The room is comfortable and perfect for one person. The staff are helpful and friendly, and the hotel is conveniently located near the train station. However, a downside is the lack of a lift to the room, so light luggage is recommended. It would also be an improvement to have a desk and chair in the room.”

“Only stayed one night, and they accommodated a very late check-in of 2:30am due to a delayed flight. When we woke up we were able to appreciate the gorgeous scenery. Rooms were clean and they provide coffee, tea and creamer in the room. ”

Rooms very nicely appointed with lovely additional touches (fresh milk in a flask; home baked cookies; tea and coffee with cafetiere). Hindon is a picturesque village with charming cottages and discernable outlines of the many coaching inns once there (of which the Grosvenor Arms is one). Plenty to do in the surrounding countryside. “Room was great, although a little warm, even with the radiator turned v low and window open but clean and lovely touches such as fresh milk and orange juice in the fridge, homemade biscuits and even small hot water bottles. The door to the bathroom was a sliding door with large gaps, not ideal but also not a big issue. Staff were amazing, evening meal was v good, breakfast was amazing! You won't go hungry. Large car park, great views and in a quiet remote setting. Will be back ”
