"This place is a must stay if you’re looking for a place with fantastic views, a cozy and welcoming feel. It’s nice a serene to wake up and see the views. Simon was the best host and was able to tell me about the different trails around the area for gorgeous hikes if you are into that. Urquhart Castle is just around the corner and town is just a mile walk away! I wish I could have spent more time here. "

Only suggestion would be to treat the spiders nests in the vents above the windows. 1 night we had a large black spider IN the bed and the next night there was another one on the ceiling above the bedroom window. Both of them startled the wife very much 😂"

"Family trip with 8 adults exploring Inverness before a Backroads hiking trip in the Highlands. 2 gorgeous King bedrooms and 3 lesser view/beds so if you have a large family, keep that in mind.Kitchen was large and well appointed. Gorgeous living room with beautiful view. Firepit, hot tub and lounges terrific if the weather cooperates.Communication with the owner was very easy and they took care of a few issues immediately and with grace.Felt extremely lucky to have found Fern View and will keep these wonderful memories forever"

"We stayed for one night and highly recommend this beautiful apartment for anyone visiting Inverness. The location is perfect for sightseeing and the neighborhood is residential and very quiet. We especially loved and appreciated the fresh fruit basket and breakfast goodies. The apartment was immaculate and lovely and will definitely stay again on a return trip."
