"Friendly staff at breakfast. The hotel rooms are ok, the bathrooms are nice and updated, but the floors in the rooms need to mopped properly as they feel quite sticky and dirty. Good that it has a gym, but there’s a mismatch of single weights of varying size. The use of plastic wrapped plastic cutlery at breakfast is not great, would be great if that was changed into something more environmentally friendly."

"I have stayed at the Moonrise several times, but this visit was not good. The bar and restaurant were not open, the rooftop bar was also closed and there was an odor and unkempt appearance to the entire motel. The beds were comfortable as always, but it was not the best visit."

"Location is good for access to Barnes Hospital and Center for Advanced Medicine. There is an adjacent Applebee's restaurant. The breakfast is not a great value, overpriced for fare that is free at most 3 star hotels. Parking costs about $16 per night. Room was adequate but not up to Hilton standards. Recent renovations have not significantly improved the property."

"Really very nice stay on all levels! Nice property, so convenient to the Pageant and other spots, and really quiet. The house was lovely, the neighborhood was peaceful and there was absolutely nothing wrong with this stay. Very much hope to stay again. Thank you! "
