Bergamo E. Caffi Natural Science Museum Hotels

"The hotel is in a good central location to walk to and explore Citta Alta and Citta Bassa in Bergamo. Room conditions were good, it was spacious and clean. Sufficient closet space, which is beginning to be a problem at hotels. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and had dinner at the rooftop restaurant. Wonderful evening view of the Venetian walls and Citta Alta. The one problem we had, and it is common to many hotels, insufficient number of outlets to plug in chargers (without unplugging the TV, etc), as well the inconvenient locations of some outlets. "

"Hotel is in a great location relative to the train station. Staff were very nice and helpful. Room was disappointing with the toilet seat broken, faucet handle completely came off and no towels in the room. "

"Clean and nice"

"We absolutely loved our stay here. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location is superb, on the Main Street in the old town but we found it to be the slightly quieter end - which is good! We dined in their Da Mimmo restaurant and it was very good. Bonus is they offer 10% off to their guests at their restaurants and bakery - what a lovely touch. It was busy so I’d book ahead via reception. Location - It is the opposite end to the Citta Alta funicular so if coming from the airport, I would recommend getting the airport bus (No. 1) to the Colle Aperto stop and it’s a quick 4 minute walk from there. We staying in the two bed apartment and it was so spacious. Everything worked and it was extremely clean. There are a lot of stairs to that particular unit so just be mindful if you have mobility issues. All in all, if we were coming back to Bergamo, we’d happily stay here again!"

"Staff was truly exceptional. Service for evening happy hour and breakfast was also exceptional. Location was quiet and so convenient to wander this beautiful city. Rooms were small with skylight and vaulted ceiling. Bath lacks privacy. The overall experience of the location and the staff make it an excellent choice. Ask about private transportation if needed as hotel provided at a reasonable fee, thank you Agustina. Ask if you need anything, they were so accomodating."
