“Nos fustó todo, habitación enorme y preciosa...un poco calurosa pero abriendo la puerta de la terraza perfecto. La cena y desayuno en el alojamiento muy bien también. Fue nuestro último día de viaje por Escocia y la verdad que fue la guinda al viaje”

“There was a large party downstairs (floor below) on the Saturday night we stayed there. Music from DJ was very loud and pounding/felt in our room until after midnight preventing sleep. The Restaurant was unavailable due to the party. I wouldn’t recommend booking a room on this property when the downstairs facilities are booked in this way.”

“Possibly the worst place I’ve ever stayed. I didn’t receive the check in instructions, so on arriving had to spend around an hour trying to figure things out. There are no staff at the property and the phone number on their website is incorrect. Room had no bin, no mirror or tea & coffee facilities. This is a basic. No outdoor lighting and slippery broken decking steps is a health and safety hazard. Another guest kept leaving the main door open, and one night I took my dog out in the night to……

“Conveniently located for the centre of Haddington, the hotel is comfortable, quiet with good onsite parking. We didn't have an evening meal, although the menu looked great but we were out with friends. We did have breakfast which was good, a selection of cereals, juice, help yourself tea and coffee, full English. The staff were really friendly”

“I would normally say nothing rather than write a bad review but this place was so bad - the room in particular, the fact that no one cared and it showed , the lack of maintenance or bothering about customers , i think other guests should be aware. We could have put up with having to search for someone to check us in, the dirty carpets, battered dirty paint work, incredibly slow service , being made to feel an inconvenience for having dinner ( food was nice when we eventually got it) and not……

“Staff and food were very good but stay was let down by a few niggles. I had booked a table for dinner but there was no record of it when I arrived. I had also asked for a room with a walk in shower but didn't get it. The biscuits on the tea tray were the smallest pieces of shortbread I have seen made worse by having no biscuits at all on my second night. The tea bags had not been replenished and why leave 3 cartons of long life milk for 2 people? I have stayed in many hotels with my dog and this……
