“Fantastic staff, great food and a great view of Richmond which is a short walk to the town”

“Hotel is welcoming of pets but dog friendly rooms are on the second floor or above and there's no lift so it's a trek during the night to take your dog downstairs to do it's business.”

“Heating turned on at 20degrees but frankly when it’s minus 7 outside this was not enough. A fan in the bathroom would be good because it’s unreasonable to expect the window to be open when freezing outside. Shower was hard to adjust. A manual when you arrive would be a help too If you had 4 people in this house it would be too small. A simple double bed in the second bedroom would provide a bit more space to move around. Towel rail in the bathroom would be better if you could tirn it off and……

“What I love this hotel the most is the breakfast, its by order and put you feel like on vocation (I am on biz trip). The staff was very nice as well. The hotel location is perfect and nearby market place, very easy to walk around this lovely city. The only thing that need to improve is the internet connection, it was that good in my room.”

“The hotel is very dated and needs decorating. Our shower hardly worked as the water just dripped out. The bed was comfy and the bedding and towels were lovely and clean. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was very good. The downstairs bars were cluttered with things and needed a good clear out, this made it not very inviting to have a drink. The hotel is in an ideal place in the centre of town which was ideal for what we wanted. ”

“I felt comfortable soon has i walked in staff where lovely, the only thing was they had a power cut for 12 hours and it was pitch black in the bedroom i know its not there fault but i have a walking disability which i try to keep to my self. But other than that i have had a fantastic stay.”

“Had a brilliant time at Rockliffe Hall. The spa was really relaxing and well worth it. The spa treatment itself was spot on, and the views around the place are lovely. The Staff were great: polite, helpful, and made everything easy. They left a few things out for our birthday celebration, which made the day feel special. Tip: on your last morning, try to squeeze in one last 1/2 hour the spa to set you up for the day.”
