"I stayed for a few days in a 1 bedroom apartment with a sea view. It was on the top floor and the stairways leading to it were a bit ropey, but when I got inside I was pleasantly surprised! The apartment was dated but amazingly spacious and clean with everything I needed and more. It had a very handy kitchen area, a dining and sitting area, along with a spacious bedroom with an en-suite and a further bathroom. The view of the sea was amazing. The leisure facilities were exceptional with a lovely indoor pool, where I joined in an aquafit class and there with a Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. There’s also a gym, which I didn’t use but my favourite was the heated outdoor pool. The gardens were also beautiful and there was a little gate at the end which leads to the beach. The staff were all so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help and I was made so welcome when I joined a group of local ladies at the aquafit class. I only had breakfast on one of the mornings but it was very tasty and great value for money. I heard rumours from the locals that the hotel is at risk but hope that isn’t the case, as I would really like to return."

"Great location in the High Street, and over the road to the beautiful pebbly beach, which was lovely to visit at all times of day. We found parking tricky as many spots are limited to 2 or 4 hours, but the free car park at the other end of town was doable and free all the time - we just dropped my elderly mom off first.I don't think I realised that this was a 1st and 2nd floor apartment over a shop, so didn't expect the stairs up to the apartment, so as the description says, best to check with the owner if you're unsure. My mom found them a bit hard going.All communication with the owner was quick, helpful and efficient. Overall a lovely few days away and I'd definitely recommend this place. (Hopefully we did the recycling right!) :-)"

"The accommodation was perfect for us. Clean, & comfortable with everything we needed. No problem with parking & friendly neighbours. We would love to visit again and highly recommend the property.A bit of a walk to the beach, so parking there suited us, so that we could bring everything we needed. Budleigh Salterton is a beautiful place to visit, There is enough in the town to not have to shop elsewhere. There are a few little cafes, and small supermarket shops."

"The cottage is very well furnished and the pictures did not do it justice. The beds were very comfy and the shower had good water pressure. Was a very relaxing place to chill in the evenings and there are games there to play. The owners have an info folder with local walks which I recommend making the most of. The kitchen is well equipped to cook evening meals. Would happily stay here again."

"A very well appointed studio room with a very comfortable bed and a great shower.Good, detailed description of the property and the surrounding towns were received prior to travel. Also instructions on how to access the property and use the facilities, if the host was not there on arrival.As it happens, Rosemary, was there when we arrived and she was very welcoming, and showed us around and told us how to use the hot tub and other facilities.The Studio is located on a quiet country lane and is very private. It is in a great location for exploring both the English Riviera Coast, and the Jurassic Coast. There is a large supermarket and numerous mini supermarkets within 5 miles of the property and there are in excess of 30 ( We lost count ) pubs and restaurants within 10 miles.We loved our stay, and will return again soon."
