「Special Place with very nice staff. Check in was easy and fast, we were able to leave our luggage until check in was ready. The room is small but has everything you‘ll need for a city trip. It is quite noisy, the DLR trainline is behind the hotel and you hear planes flying over the hotel. The Breakfast was perfect, they had everything you need and more. The area where the hotel is located is a little bit scatchy but only on the main road. Behind the hotel is a small Bassin which was very nice...

The dinners and breakfasts provided by the TING restaurant are excellent. The front desk also offers service in fluent Chinese and English. Other Shangri-La hotels should consider this establishment's service standards as a worthwhile example to emulate.」
