「The setting for this hotel is as good as it gets, set on cliff tops overlooking a wonderful sandy beach below. Staff were great, food excellent, strangely, catch of the day was well priced but steak and pork chop overpriced. Our room was wonderful but lacked air-conditioning, was west facing and we were there in another 30 degree plus heatwave, but a fan sufficed. Outdoor pool was excellent but weather so good we didn't get to the spa. Simple to charge the EV , some roads are scary narrow but...

「Great location, staff were very helpful. Was a nice touch that they put on a free shuttle into Salcombe. They also provided complimentary gin and ice and slice which we thought made the stay even more unique.」

「Hope Cove is a lovely place to stay. Food at the Hope and Anchor was five star. Staff were friendly. We did feel however that certain parts needed more attention. There was thick dust under the dresser in restaurant area. There is a paying car park next door which was £12 for 24 hours.」

「We have stayed at Astor house before so we came back to the same apartment. They had upgraded the sofas to recliners which was a nice surprise. The apartment itself is easy to get to clean and Torquay town centre is a short walk away. It has a great view over the beach side of Torquay and the area is quiet. The place is clean and well maintained and the host kindly provided some biscuits and milk. I would highly recommend this place.」

「Great location; 5 min walk from the Torquay train station and 10 min walk to the waterfront. Clean, well-maintained and charming room and facilities. Good-sized bathroom with excellent amenities. Cute bar, lounge, and reading room. Nice bit of garden in the front to sit and read or bask in the sun. Excellent breakfast. Above all, charming and lovely hosts Wendy and Steve (Thank you ever so much). We will be coming back for sure.」

「Wonderful one night stay. Huge beautiful room, air conditioning was a bonus in this heat. Loved using the spa facilities and outdoor pool. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Excellent breakfast.」

「Wo fange ich an?! Wir wollten unbedingt in ein B&B für unseren ersten Urlaub in England. Jetzt sind wir sicher, dass die Messlatte so hoch ist, dass kein anderes jemals daran anknüpft. Wir wurden von Dave und Tonny herzlich an der Tür empfangen, solange Tonny uns Sekt einschenkte, trug Dave unsere Koffer hoch. Die beiden waren Stewards in der First &Business class namhafter Airlines. Und sie wie sie damals ihre Gäste on Boarding verwöhnt hatten, und genau so verwöhnen sie ihre B&B Gäste. Beide...
