Tulloch Castle Hotel

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tulloch Castle. It’s a beautiful countryside castle that, despite its age has lovely, quaint rooms to stay in. We enjoyed looking through the onsite museum dedicated to the Davidson clan, as well as the lovely breakfast and dinner. Afterwards we were treated to a tour of the castle and told the story of the resident ghost! Really it’s the staff that deserve a gold medal, for accommodating an earlier entry, to their kindness and willingness to make us feel at home. Thanks for a wonderful stay! We’d highly recommend staying here."

"Only stayed one night but the experience was excellent. The room wasn't huge but very nice, shower room/toilet looked brand new, comfy bed and the room was spotless. Breakfast was excellent and staff were very attentive."

"This property was an unexpected gem! The property was well priced ,finishes ,were immaculate , The property is very clean .The layout of the room even allowed for a separate seating area just outside our bedroom. This property had no TV, but was not missed because of the level of Wi-Fi available. The house is in a country setting, so of course convenience to amenities such as shopping or food should not be considered. This is very quiet location and very much appreciated after long days of travel.Breakfast was very good as was the company with the other guests and the owner! We would recommend to anyone!"

"Room was cozy and comfortable and mattress and duvet were soft and super inviting. I am a 70 year old solo traveler and felt very safe. Very homey. Not slick and impersonal. Owners were friendly and explained how to adjust heating etc. Absolutely would stay there again!"

"What a treat it was to stay here. A very warm welcome, clear helpful instructions to enter when we arrived a little earlier than expected. The room is very comfortable with two easy chairs which is unusual. A coffee maker with a wide choice of pods plus a kettle with tea and coffee. Everything is spotlessly clean and good quality. We really enjoyed staying here and would highly recommend it."

"I only stayed for one night - the room was very comfortable, had an en-suite bathroom and kettle with tea/coffee etc. Continental breakfast was brought to my room on a tray and the host was very helpful with directions for a shortcut to walk down into Ullapool. The house is on a quiet street just off the main road. Would recommend."
