「Volcano is a rural area, and this lodge is no different. The grounds are beautiful. This property is great for people who appreciate the outdoors. I was happy that the shower was HOT, as it gets cold in Volcano. Some things that would've made our stay a little better are: a portable fan, a larger dehumidifier, and bottled water. Note: the hosts provided drinking water in a beverage dispenser, however I would've preferred bottled water. The space was a little tight for our group of 4; I would...

「Two of the towels were not cleaned and still hanging behind the bathroom door. Some of the towels had stains on them. The property was ok but not super clean. It was just for one night so we were fine with it otherwise would not recommend staying in it for multiple days. The sofa bed was quite old. Definitely not worth $200+ per night.」

「I had no hot water for my 3 night stay. Cold water only. The owner said to check the circuit breaker. I did. That didn’t solve anything.I was really looking forward to a nice outdoor hot tub after hiking all day in the rain. The switch to turn on the hot tub jets wasn’t working. The owner said a previous renter broke the switch so I had no jets. The water was warm but tub was dirty.The light on kitchen counter was broken so there was no light to prepare anything to eat.」

「We were really looking forward to the hot tub and it was the main reason we booked this place. When we looked at it, it was cloudy and dirty. We later found out it was broken. We ended up not staying either of the two nights we booked here. It seems fair to get a some refund since the hot tub was broken.」
