Our trip to Firenze was made memorable by our stay at Villa Gelsomino Garden. Our room was clean and spacious. Marzio was a wonderful host who made sure all our needs were met. He gave us great recommendations re: Florence including where to have the best lampredotto (Nerbone in Mercato Centrale) and his rec was spot-on. Although the hotel was not near the city center, it is a convenient bus ride to the city center with the bus stop right across the street. We felt we were in a home away from home. We would definitely book again with Villa Gelsomino Garden if we come back to Florence.

It's just ok but stairs is hard and people not very helpful.. We arrive without any information, like gate code and etc... I'm glad one of the guest help us to go inside.. But no one reply or help us, when we are calling. Its hard to go inside if there's a miscommunications.... No one will help you from the facility... I'm not going back

Not honest, shower problem

I left my t-shirt on the room bed, after I checked out, I contacted the receptionist for find back my t-shirt, but they said there is nothing even though I know my t-shirt is there, they are not honest. And the showering facility is so bad that I couldn’t finish washing my hair at one time, the water drains out from the shower tap by only opening for 3~5 minutes…… ridiculous

The stay was excellent . Mr Marcio has been an excellent host and very supportive. No doubts to include this place on my next trip to Firenze. The public transport (Bus) exactly on front of this place and 20 min from the city centre, so it is very convenient. Place is clean and comfortable, breakfast, good mattresses, and quit and secure area. This place is genuinely a 5 star place. Excellent service ! FIVE STARS !

⸻ The place was clean enough, but there was a noticeable funky smell in the hallway. The provided shampoo, soap, and towels were very basic, so it’s better to bring your own if you can. Breakfast was decent. The location is a bit far from the city center, though there’s a bus stop nearby—just note that weekend service isn’t very frequent. Also, there aren’t any restaurants within walking distance.

Marzio was a great host, our room was squeaky clean and very spacious for us 5, two adults 2 teens and a 4yo. Marzio was super helpful with tips and recommendations about places to visit during our stay in Florence. Although the property is not in the main area is pretty close on a bus which the stop is accross the street or by uber our preferred option especially with a little kid; parking was no problem for us. Breakfast was nice and yummy but dinners were my favorite, Marzio and Rosalba prepared some very nice and delicious meals and very authentic Italian. We loved it and we would recommend it and if we could come back again we would for sure stay with them.

Firenze in via del Gelsomino

Struttura a due passi dal centro e raggiungibile anche con i mezzi pubblici con camera spaziosa e, nel mio caso, anche un resede con sdraio e tavolo che affaccia sul giardino. Ottimo per chi visita Firenze e desidera anche vivere un poco la vita di quartiere.

Les propriétaires des lieux sont très sympathiques et serviables. Notre chambre était vaste et très agréable. Il y a le nécessaire pour le petit déjeuner, sans plus. Possibilité de prendre le repas du soir à un prix très démocratique.
