Shabby & in Need of Complete Renovation.

Oh dear this hotel is currently slowly undergoing change. Please wait for the renovation to be completed. The lobby was very pleasant, check in good, but on showing myself to the room, i almost wretched at the vile smell emanating from the room. I went down to the lobby and complained and they gave me a different room which was only marginally better. Why they couldnt have dealt with the smell which they knew existed i have no idea. Anyway the new room had no more than a three foot single bed in it. The bathroom however although small had been renovated rather well. However the shower room, which was good with good hot running water, did not have a soap dish in it. Can you believe it? A simple item costing very little had not been included.. I really wanted to buy the hotel some nice smelling furniture polish for the room and a soap dish for the shower to shame them into doing something about the problems. The breakfast wasnt bad, but all in all for the price i paid i thought it was all very shabby.

O Hotel precisa de reforma. A localização dele é fantastica e tem uma varanda aonde se pode ver o por do sol. Em frente ao Rio Arno! Lindo!!!Facilidade em se locomover tanto a pé para ir para o centro da cidade como de carro para sair e entrar na cidade! Perto da Ponte Vecchio! Se fizer uma reforma, ficará perfeito!!!!

Hotellet er lidt slidt, men ligger meget fint i forhold til at opleve Firenze. Der er dog en del trafikstøj fra gaden ned mod floden. Morgenmaden og morgenmadsslokalet er meget kedeligt. Med en lille bitte indsats kunne man skabe en hyggelig ramme om et ordentligt morgenmåltid. Det er ærgerligt at et hotel i så fantastisk en by ikke lægger mere vægt på æstetik :-)

The staff are nice but the rooms are small and have not been renovated in a while. Breakfast is okay, basically croissants and cheese. Coffee is bad, automatic machine

Bra hotell med god service. Hyggelig personale. Vi kom med bil, lett adkomst og bilen ble hentet og parkert i parkeringshus for oss.

The Ritz should not be classified as a four star.

This is the first time I used Expedia's unpublished rate pick when selecting a hotel. I will not do that again. This hotel purports to be a four star hotel. That's a stretch. I would classify it as a three star at best. The hotel is located at the geographic extreme of the Expedia's unpublished rate zone, therefore not very convenient. My double room was very basic, with old furnishing, in need of painting, and had no wifi. The little money I saved by using Expedia's unpublished rate pick wasn't worth it.

Huge rooms!

We stayed at the Ritz Hotel May 11-13, 2014. We were put in a triple room with a balcony overlooking the river. As mentioned by other reviewers, the Ritz could use an update, but then it would cost more. Good location, clean, friendly staff & adiquate breakfast included. Everything we needed to enjoy our stay in Florance.

Varning för det här hotellet som utger sig för att vara fyra stjärnigt. hotellet har ingen restaurang. wifi går enbart att använda i lobbyn. aircondition fungerade ej och tvn hade inga fungerande kanaler. frukosten var ok och personalen var trevlig. Summerat så är det här hotellet inte värt sitt pris, se efter annat alternativ.

Nice foyer, poor rooms

Hotel promotes itself as a 4 star; it is barely a one star in reality. Room was in poor condition and badly in need of repair and refresh. Furniture old and in poor condition. Very thin glass in windows which rattled throughout the night. No fridge in room. Barely adequate breakfast. A disappointing experience. Would never stay there again.

Vistas espectaculares

Nuestra habitación tenía unas vistas espectaculares al río Arno. Es lo único muy positivo. Limpieza regular, instalaciones muy antiguas, muebles deteriorados, desayuno pobre ( lo mismo todos los días, imposible hacer una tostada, no hay fruta. ..). Si esperas cuatro estrellas te decepcionará.
