“This hotel is located pretty far down at the end of a road, ways out of the main town. The shower drain was clogged with hair and sand and hairties. There was cigarette ashes in one of the 2 beds. These beds are advertised as queens but they are "fulls" and the staff is very rude. I did nkt have much interaction with the staff but when in the lobby i observed them on many occasions treating others poorly. ”

“Not a very nice place. Grumpy old guy. Dated furnishings. The beds were up on blocks of wood on which i stubbed my toe and bled everywhere. We did a 7 night road trip and this was the the worst place. Would not recommend. ”

“We stayed at Florence Lighthouse Inn and had a mixed but ultimately improved experience.
Our initial room had some significant issues—the shower wasn’t working and the air vent was very noisy, which made it uncomfortable for my family. After raising our concerns, the team responded and moved us to a much better suite. We do appreciate the effort, though moving luggage with the family was not ideal, and we were left wondering why the better room wasn’t assigned from the start.

“This was my third stay at the Silver Surf motel, I just love it! My two kids and I have been meeting up with my mom and aunt every year in adjoining rooms. It's very rustic, so if your looking for luxury, this is not the place for you. But if you're looking for a rustic, take cozy place to call home right on the beach, look no further!
This place has comfy beds, and functional kitchenette making it feel more like a rental house than a motel.The kids love the indoor pool and the adults look……

“Excellent location. Right on the beach and there’s a nice ocean front gravel trail that goes around the rocky area and connects back to the sandy beach when it resumes. Property is well maintained.
My only complaint was the mattress. It was ok but uneven. Either older or never rotated. But still reasonably comfortable. ”
