“A little pricey but excellent”

“It was surprisingly a good stay. The workout room needed attention as there was no water and towels available after the first day. Breakfast wasn’t the best but, its hotel breakfast Laundry machines were great. The only downside was I missed the checkout early by 1.25 hours and had to still pay for the room.”

“The staffs are very friendly. The room is decent and the lake view is great! Vending machines are old and not working properly.”

“The family above our room was banging on the floor and yelling ALL night and we couldn’t sleep. Tried calling the office and left a voicemail but no call back nor did they speak to family. Had to blast the A/C and TV to try and get sleep. When I checked out the following morning all they said was, “sorry”. Will not go back. Poor customer service”

“We attended several performances at the Glimmerglass Opera Festival and the Lake House is conveniently close by.”

“Quiet and comfortable. Would be nice to have option to purchase a breakfast snack or fruit but not a big deal if you plan ahead. Pretty spot and short scenic drive to cooperstown.”

“The only places to stay around Glimmerglass are these small motels. This was a lovely surprise. The room was very clean and the owner is so nice. There is a nice backyard to this place that has a pavilion, a fireplace and games. Very family oriented.”

“We were very pleased with this Red Roof lodge. The main lobby was very clean and cheerful. At check in they were very friendly and accommodating. We were not sure what condition the place would be in as you see pictures on line but things could be different when you arrive. This one was not different. So we booked another night stay. During the next day I was amazed at the amount of staff they had working to keep the place clean They did also have a nice area to eat breakfast with plenty……

“Breakfast was a plus, we want to say the man in charge of having breakfast ready was very attentive, making sure everything was full, ready to eat. There is another male who was rude with people, when the coffee machine wasn’t working he responded in a rude way! Gray polo uniform, skinny guy, not very tall, young. Besides that, everything was good. Housekeeping were on track, cleaning and having all room amenities available.”
