“Our room was lovely and the breakfast was fantastic, with very nice bacon and eggs. Staff very friendly.”

“Constant noise and heavy fire doors banging until midnight, got woken up by people in the hallway leaving at 6am. The room had a green fire exit light that couldn’t turn off so the room was always lit up even with the other lights off. The lamp in the room was broken. Absolutely no soundproofing anywhere. Plenty of free parking though. Breakfast was included but not a great standard. Bathroom had paint peeling off the windowsills and the shower was slow to drain. There were shower amenities……

“Wonderful accommodations in a most beautiful part of our world. The building is very old and this is not perfect. For us it was perfect. An excellent breakfast each morning and dinner and pints in the evening. Plenty to see nearby. We look forward to visiting again.”

“Excellent scenic location next to the river. Amazing breakfast choices. Evening meals were always very good and sometimes exceptional. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would hope to return.”

“Staff were really friendly and kind, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable, loved the coffee machine and generous pods provided and size of mugs was great. Bed was amazingly comfy! had a lovely nights sleep. Food was excellent! good portions, value for money and really tasty. Thanks to the Miners team for a really great stay! ”
