“The condo is pretty far away from town,however the horse taxis are fun and easily available.They have a porter to send your luggage on,at the ferry docks.So you don’t have to go back and forth.You can stay right in town and explore the island until you are ready to head to your room.When we did our luggage was in room waiting for us.Also the next day at check-out the porter took our luggage to the ferry and made sure we got the next available taxi into town.When we were ready to head back to……

“It was good for sleeping. But would not go back. Heard noises all throughout our stay (footballs on the 3rd floor, people laughing and running outside in the hallways, shadows of them outside at all times etc etc.) There were mayflies everywhere on the balcony window so we couldn't go out there or open them, and the beds really did a number on my back. Not to mention the check in location was in a different building up a huge hill, which was very inconvenient and stressful. I had to ask……

“First, the pros: clean room, comfortable bed, night light, a (sort of) free continental breakfast, coffee maker (single cup) worked fine, great water pressure in the shower, good ice machine, very easy walk to Arnold's Transit ferry to Mackinac Island. Now the cons: had to ask for hand soap; exposed (no shade or covering) light bulb was the main light source; no towel rack in bathroom, so had to get out of shower to grab towel; no clock; "breakfast" was grab-and-go -- no seating provided;……

“This little motel was THE PERFECT stay while I was in St. Ignace for 4 days. I love the vintage-feel of the motel and the newly-updated rooms! Bed was super comfortable and so was the recliner in the room. Room was super clean and had everything I needed. When I come back to St. Ignace, I will always stay at The Cedars!!!!!!! I recommend this super nice motel to everyone!!! 🌟🌟🌟”
