Calm, quiet, convenient on waterway

The property was very clean and well maintained. It is in a very quiet neighborhood which made for a good night's sleep every night. There was enough room to spread out or retire to our own rooms with TV's. Although we were in town on business and didn't spend a lot of time at the property, it had everything needed if we had spent time there for meal prep, etc.

Nice place. Extremely difficult management.

The main problem with this stay was the management company called “Le Château” and their representative Alex. After completing our reservation with Vrbo, they sent me an additional contract from their company that included a clause about guests not disputing credit card charges (?!) and charges not listed on Vrbo including a significant deposit not mentioned anywhere. They overcharged my credit card and were very slow to make any of the corrections. Additionally near the end of our stay, they processed three random charges directly to my credit card with no notification or explanation of any kind. I spent hours researching and writing to them about these charges, and with the help of their bookkeeping ledger, discovered that the charges are inaccurate. To this date they still have neither resolved nor refunded the overcharges. The duplex is nice - as pictured - including the small yard on the waterway. The linens are fine, but washcloths and bath mats were old. The kitchen had nice plates, cups and glasses - but was not well equipped for cooking.

Wir würden immer wiederkommen!

Wir haben das Haus genauso vorgefunden, wie im Inserat beschrieben: Tolle Lage (ruhig und trotzdem zentral), sauber und absolut ansprechend eingerichtet. Der Wohnbereich und die wirklich gut ausgestattete Küche sind sehr komfortabel, und auch auf der Terrasse lässt es sich sehr gut aushalten, während man die vorbeifahrenden Boote beobachtet. Ein absolutes Highlight sind die bequemen Betten und die tolle Dusche. So etwas haben wir in den USA nur ganz selten vorgefunden. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden diese Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen!
