"We booked this property as a place to stay for a 3 day fishing trip to Crescent Lake. There were 8 guys and this place was exactly what we were looking for. Very secluded with no neighbors and just the sounds of wildlife at night. We loved the fishing dock on the creek and utilized it on several days. "Our group has been staying at this house every Jan/Feb for the last few years for our annual St. Johns river fishing trip. There is lots of room for our group of 12 guys and the owner is easy to deal with. We plan to return each year and this is the best house on the river in Astor that our group all agrees on staying. "House was very clean. Some shampoo… some soap and toothpaste supplied. Kitchen supplies…condiments , clothes detergent, toilet paper… you will need to buy. For any home in Villages… it would be good to better understand the golf cart paths… give more instruction. We used the maps app on our phone and put in for 🚲 since carts and bike paths are shared in The Villages. It took a a day or two to figure that out… not all roads are golf cart friendly.
