Elsas Place, a Home in Madeira

Elsa's Place is an air-conditioned studio for two in the Lido area, close to the sea, with a sea-view balcony — a few minutes' walk from the Promenade, restaurants and the Ponta Gorda bathing complex.

The studio has an interior area of 34 m² and a small balcony, on the 2nd floor of a residential building, and comprises a sleeping area with a queen-size double bed (160 × 200 cm), a bathroom and a small living area with a sofa, dining table and kitchenette.

It also includes a refrigerator, a washer-dryer, a ceramic hob, an oven, a microwave, a coffee machine and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, a heater, Wi-Fi, a TV with international channels and other amenities for a pleasant and relaxing stay.



📍 NEIGHBOURHOOD

The property is in a residential area of Funchal's main tourist district. Within a 5-minute walk there are several restaurants, bars, shops, supermarkets and places of interest. It is 250 m from the Ponta Gorda bathing complex, 400 m from the Forum Madeira shopping centre and 900 m from the Lido bathing complex, along the Promenade do Lido, by the sea.

There are bus stops next to the building and easy access by car to the main roads.

The building's pool is temporarily closed for repair works, expected to last several months.

Free parking on the property is subject to availability. If there is no space, there is a paid car park 200 m away and it is possible to park on nearby streets.

There may be traffic noise, reduced with the windows closed, occasional noise from neighbouring apartments and the corridors and, temporarily, from renovation work in other apartments during the day.

Weekly maintenance cleaning, including a change of bed linen and towels.

We strongly recommend that guests purchase travel insurance covering cancellations or other unforeseen circumstances that may prevent their stay.

If you have special needs or allergies, please contact us before booking so we can confirm whether we are able to accommodate them.

Due to the island's location and climate, the presence of insects is natural, and they may be attracted by food scraps. We kindly ask that you keep surfaces clean and food properly stored.

For those sensitive to mosquito bites, we recommend using repellent when getting around the island.

An online pre-check-in form will be sent to collect the identification details required by law.

In-person check-in is by prior appointment. We will wait up to 60 minutes after the scheduled time; beyond that, it may be necessary to arrange a new time.

So that we can resolve any issue promptly, we ask that you report any faults or cleaning shortcomings immediately. Reports made after check-out may no longer be verified or resolved.
