Perfect for exploring Madeira

The apartment had everything we needed. It is even perfectly equipped for cooking and washing your cloth. There are good restaurants and bakeries for breakfast in very close walking distance. It is quiet with a nice view. Located in a living area and not the city center.

The apartment was clean and well equipped.Perhaps a few more basic instructions on how to use the hob and oven would be beneficial. We are not use to induction hobs but we did manage to figure it all out! No English channels on the large flat screen TV but you did get Sky News! The views from the balcony were far reaching. The road did provide some traffic noise which did disturb us but we live in a very quiet area so were probably more susceptible to it. The bed was very comfortable but the sofa was not! Be careful with the shower, it can go from cool to very hot in an instant when turning the flow leaver. There was a problem with the door lock to the main entrance door but they got it replaced so will not be an issue with future guests. Communication with the Island Apart staff was very good, they replied very quickly to any queries/problems. A tip, the local BOLT taxis were excellent and cheap, almost cheaper than the bus!
