Awesome stay in Funchal!

The views were incredible, the beds super comfy, nice quiet location. All in all an awesome stay! There’s mold growing in the shower of the bathroom on the ceiling. We bought vinegar and bleach to make it better but it didn’t really improve. The wood slats on the floor of the shower also smelled like mold, so we washed them and put them on the patio for the duration of our stay. Otherwise, it was lovely!!!

Great apartment

Very nice apartment , plenty of room, clean, the location was good although if you plan on walking into town it is uphill and very steep all the way back. The air conditioning is only in the living room and it is a portable unit which vents out the window. It is not the accurate unit for the type of windows , as the window remains open with the vent not sitting correctly in the window and constantly fell down. My contact was gracious and met us as we arrived which was wonderful and communicating with her was very easy.
