"The room and the lobby were clean. The desk clerk was reallly friendly as well. There are many problems here, though. The shower wouldn't stop running when I turned the handle off. My husband had to crank it VERY hard to get it to at least stop dripping enough that I could take a soak after a long day. There was a huge patched spot right above the tub; an obvious indicator that the tub above my room had leaked. It's more than disconcerting to know that a heavy person could step in there and possibly crush you while you shower below. Paint was peeling, especially in the bathroom. The chest of drawers and nightstand smell very moldy/musty when open. The ad is misleading about the breakfast. It is NOT EVEN A CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST. There would be fruit, pastries, oatmeal and etc. Instead the ad for the hotel (on hotels.com) says "full breakfast" but there is NO meat, eggs, nor potatoes. One day there were only apples and another day there was NO fruit. They have an automatic pancake machine (conveyor style), 3 cereals, and nothing else, or maybe you get muffins some days. The putt-putt course is open but VERY dangerous because many of the holes have pieces of boards that are NOT screwed down nor covered with turf, so they flop and slide when you walk across. Because so much of the turf is missing and it's hazardous, you can't really play the course right.
The price was reasonable, it was quiet and the bed was comfy, but this is a HARD PASS for us in the future."
