「The lock in our room didn’t work, at 1am the fire alarm started chirping. They moved us to a new room, the shower curtain was moldy, the air conditioner was loud and there were no towels in the room. Management would not compensate us for our room.」

The remote to the tv did not work which was not a big deal since we did not go to Pawleys to watch tv and in all fairness after playing at the beach all day we were to tired to walk over to the office and ask them to fix it. 「Room was very nice, cold AC, roomy. Breakfast not so much. Toast looked like it was on the verge of going bad, eggs were inedible. Building site seem always under construction. Hallways need new carpet or very deep cleaned.」

「Everything was good EXCEPT Wendy the check out lady this AM gave me that classic southern attitude of hey boy you got a dog. Hey boy your credit card declined when it clearly wasn’t. Why do people have to ruin a nice hotel stay especially when you’re having time and being polite. Meh.」

「We had a late check in around 10pm, the staff is so friendly once we walked in the hotel. This Hampton has rated the best Hampton in the nation for the past 5 years and I totally agree with the rating. The room is clean and big, the morning breakfast area is very comfortable (the food are ok). Basically it's a great hotel. The only 2 downsides are: (1) sound proof not too good (2) the pool is really tiny But it is a great stay, except for the price is a little high (we paide US$220 per night)」

Overall a nice place to stay for a weekend getaway. GREAT LOCATION! Close to souvenir shop and places to eat.. you will have to go out a bit if you want breakfast though. The restaurants near by did not serve breakfast. We will definitely return in the future.」

「Had to change rooms 4 times. The first room you could just walk right in it without a key . When you try to change rooms they have an attitude and expect you to pay for the first night just cause you booked with them and they also require a deposit just for it to be nasty」
