"A unique property: Private, quiet, (with a variety of singing birds) capped off with stunning 180 views of the valley and the ocean. Fog tides roll in and out in a beautiful rhythm. It is also convenient to groceries, dining out and local parks/hiking. It was clean and ready for our arrival and we enjoyed disconnecting from everyday reality. Washer and dryer work great, so you can pack light. If you are intimidated by driving on a tight road with a significant change in elevation (in almost whiteout fog), then time your visit and activities accordingly. We chose not to drive in and out after dark on the heavy fog days. If you are going to Point Lobos, go early because of limited parking - it's worth the visit. The drive to Big Sur was as amazing as always. Location, location, location..."
