“We booked this spot last-minute during an unexpected overnight layover in Philly and were so glad we did. The location in Old City was perfect—super walkable and felt very safe, even walking to grab a late-night Philly cheesesteak after 11pm on a Saturday. It was a little chilly, but still such a fun way to experience the neighborhood. The property itself was beautiful—exactly as pictured, but honestly even better in person. “I stayed for two nights over July 4 and thought the hotel was a really good find. On the Delaware River, next to a park, apartment style rooms, on site parking. i would stay here again. It is listed as part of a casino but that isnt on site and a shuttle can take you there on request. Apparently the property didn't allow kids but it does now. That hasnt caught on yet and my stay was quiet and peaceful. I thought I had purchased a park view room but was placed in a room with no way to see out……

“This is the hidden gem that you want to keep to yourself, but you just cant. It has everything, charm, cleanliness, convenient parking (add'l fee) and walkable to ferry. Although please note, there is a lot of roadwork that has easily tripled the walk to ferry. The Panaorama restaurant is attached and serves wonderful Italian Food. You also get a 25%off coupon for staying and dining there. It is our go to spot for concerts at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion. It is what i consider a boutique……
