「We had the most delightful stay at the Whispering Pines Hotel. Spotless hotel with delightful and polite staff. The night was very stormy but we felt warm and cosy and despite the numerous times the electricity cut out the generators kicked in and we were back on with power with no fuss. My only criticism is the meal prices were way too high and the choices were too limited」

「We had a wonderful stay here. Mike and Peggy are fantastic hosts and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was cosy and absolutely perfect for a few nights away. The bathroom is small but definitely usable and didn’t cause any issues at all. Mike makes a fresh breakfast each morning, which was absolutely delicious and a real highlight of our stay. 「位置非常棒的酒店，背靠一座山，山上有小瀑布和Hiking Trail。酒店正面正对着尼斯湖。这是我们近二十天旅行住过的最有特色的酒店。酒店的年轻女经理也非常能干和友好，我认为酒店经理是一个店的灵魂，你对酒店的感觉开始于服务人员的第一个表情和动作。最赞的是早餐，味道很棒。只是门前的牛没在。经理说大家都在找牛。我们去那几天，放牛的Lady换山头了，到凉快的森林里去放了，因为她穿的有点多，前一周那里出乎意料的热了起来。」

「Great stay - entry was easy and without any fuss. The room is large and bed was great, ample power points with USB A and C. We stayed overnight on the way to Loch Ness Marathon - will be back during the daytime to visit the rewinding centre properly, as it looked really interesting. Good parking at the main car park, with EV chargers - a great perk in the not-so-well-served highlands 」

「A very cosy house right in the heart of Fort Augustus. The living room was lovely with the fireplace, though we forgot to ask for more firewood and it got a bit cold at night. It was very peaceful—I think we were the only guests! The room is small if you're travelling with luggage, but very comfortable and warm. The bathroom was perfectly adequate. Breakfast was basic but decent.」

「It was a great stay in Loch Ness Gate House Apartment. There is very clean and spacious. Both the bedroom are very big. The king and queen bed are very comfortable. The decoration is also very tasteful. The best is the open kitchen. All cooking utensils are fully equipped, including salt, oil, sugar and dishwasher.
