Staff was courteous and you can borrow baby guard rail for her, baby tub, humidifier and air filter too. Very clean and quiet hotel. Definitely recommend.
Our room was spacious and clean. The front desk person who checked us in was so courteous and her english was excellent. The hotel is surrounded by convenient shops and restaurants. Also, a wonderful park and a walking trail are nearby. It is definitely worth the stay if you are in the area.
Sono Calm Goyang is a great hotel from the welcome attendant upon arrival to the cleaning staff, everyone was friendly and helpful. I was checked in upon arrival even though earlier than the typical 3pm. The room was clean, modern, and cozy. The hotel sits in an area with restaurants and shops which made for a nice walk in the evening and grabbing dinner.
Hotel, is beautiful the rooms are modern and clean. The Starbuck in the lobby is great. There are small shops and restaurants at the back. It was a great place to stay for a business trip and a short drive to Kintex where I was working. Would definitely recommend and return if I am working nearby again. Staff were lovely and helpful too, check in and check out very easy.
Excellent hotel to stay. Staff members are super nice and friendly. All amenities worked flawlessly. The view is incredible from the room we’ve stayed. Couldn’t asked for a better hotel options. Well done Sono Calm. Highly recommend staying here when in Korea.
breakfast very good, area around the hotel also very good with lots of shops and places to eat.

Pet friendly hotel. Location is good, there's a lot restaurant nearby but, check in time is 3pm (They don't let me check in even at 2:30pm.)

The hotel is not a 5 star hotel but the service, rooms and restaurants are maximum 3 start hotel
There is nothing around only buildings I mean residential area
Hotel is just good if you want to go to Kintex other wise is a night mare
Price expensive for the level of service and conditions
The room was comfortable and the fridge was stocked with a couple of beers and cold drinks ( free ). However the beds were too small . Other than that everything was great. We Stayed in the west tower but felt that the east tower was relatively new n fresh.

Disliked: Cleanliness
It was a pet-friendly room.
I was surprised because I thought I had booked a regular room.
The property was well maintained staff was efficient . Food in hotel was well prepared and presented . The only draw back was the lack of knowledge about best places to visit while there from the concierge who probably needed more training about trips and things to do in Korea . Be prepared to google translate or understand some minor Korean expressions or language
After a 4-night stay, this Korean hotel brand delivers quality comparable to international chains like Hyatt and Westin - a marked improvement over our previous Airbnb experiences.
The Ilsan/Kintex location is ideal, with shops and restaurants nearby. The real advantage is the 5-minute walk to GTX-A high-speed rail, which reaches Seoul Station in just 20 minutes.
This relatively new property maintains excellent cleanliness standards. Standard rooms match premium Western hotels, while unique themed options include a PC-bang room with gaming computers and anime décor - a fun Korean touch.
We booked a handicap accessible room that had grab bars and wide doors, but significant issues remained. The tub-only bathroom made showering impossible for mobility-impaired guests, and the heavy room door was difficult for elderly visitors using walkers or wheelchairs.
Staff provided consistently professional and friendly service. The breakfast buffet offered Western, Korean, and Chinese options but lacked variety, staying identical throughout our stay.
Sono Calm successfully blends Korean hospitality with international standards. It’s excellent for the Goyang/Ilsan area, especially with the convenient Seoul rail connection. Despite accessibility concerns and repetitive dining, it’s recommended for its quality and location, though mobility-impaired travelers should verify specific accommodations before booking.
