「This is an amazing property for the price. The place does need some updates. But the location is amazing and the staff was super helpful. If you are the kind of person that is out and exploring all day and need a central home base I absolutely recommend. 」

「Lovely accommodations in a secluded woods, perfectly suited to the culture and pristine landscape of the Border Lakes country. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed and Barbara and Ted were very gracious hosts. We truly did not want to leave! The tiny kitchen needed a little more light but worked perfectly for meals for two. 」

「Lovely remote lodge in beautiful area. The room is small, but well appointed. You will lose cell seevice on the gorgeous Gunflint Trail, so make sure you have saved your check in instructions beforehand. Note that many lodges on the trail have restaurants, but not this one, so bring food with you before you arrive. They are last on the trail except a campground, so once you’re here, you’ll need to have everything. I came thinking I might get to see the Milky Way since it’s so remote, but there...
