“Room was clean but could have use more towels in the bathroom. Good choices for breakfast. Beach was fabulous and the view was spectacular”

“Sugar beach location was roughly 10-15 minutes from downtown. The beach on site, was ideal. Beach chairs need to be updated.. could be nicer. The balcony decks need cleaned. Hotel room was nice.. Breakfast delivered to room was nice in the morning, not having to go down to a lobby was a plus. Coffee machine in room could be updated.”

“We stayed in a King Deluxe room in the tower. The view was spectacular overlooking the pool and golf course. We enjoyed the Grill restaurant twice during our 4 day stay. The food was superb and the view of the golf course was amazing.”

“Really nice, comfortable place. We had a lakeside room and enjoyed watching the ducks and geese cavort on the shore with their ducklings/goslings. Just one night stay after a trip to the UP, but this place is run well. Which with the unavoidable hassles of travel is exactly what you want - no surprises.”

“Place was pretty clean, room was spacious and nice. Really good location. But if you stay on the first floor, it’s really noisy from the people upstairs, you can hear every step, plus some people can be really loud… smells like weed in the hallway.”

“Right on the water, plenty of chairs for laying in the sun! Enjoyed the pool and hot tub, very clean and well taken care of.”

“Our recent stay was comfortable overall. There were some challenges with the internet flickering and the breakfast where Expedia had the wrong times listed (it doesn’t start until 7am) but thankfully management was able to positively address these things. It’s a great location and the beds were comfortable which is critical.”
