"We were in town for a wedding and stayed at the Glass Light hotel. If coming to Norfolk, we highly recommend this hotel. They were accommodating to our travel plans. There were also many thoughtful touches like the free water and fruit on our floor, soft towels, extremely comfortable bed, nice hair dryer, glass art work, and Illy coffee choices in the room. "A nice place to stay. Room was well appointed- microwave, fridge and best of all a Keurig coffee maker! Hate those little hotel coffee makers that make weak coffee! Vanity and sink were separate from the shower and toilet- good and bad. As with all hotels - not nearly enough lighting at the mirror to put on make up or really see much of anything. WHY don’t hotels have enough light?😡"

"Nice motel. Well equipped rooms. Staff was very, very nice. Was in a newer room with a hard floor. Being on the beach, a broom or mini vac in the room would be helpful. Constantly felt like I had sand on my feet - because I did. Housekeeping checked in on day 3 of 4 to see if I needed anything. I didn’t love being on the ground floor - but that is what was available. "
