“We came to Myrtle Beach for our father’s funeral and decided to make a beach vacation out of it. We have been coming to Ocean Lakes for many, many years and the entire family loves it. We rented D04A and it couldn’t have been better. The 5 bedrooms made it perfect for a large family. The owners were absolutely fabulous. We had a small issue upon arrival and they came and fixed it immediately. We would have been fine without the fix, but they insisted they wanted to make it right and we were so……

“Gina & Steve were very responsive & accommodating before, during and after our stay. The house was clean and cozy and in a great location! We were in walking distance to almost everything but still rented a golf cart to cruise around. I especially loved relaxing on the back porch overlooking the lake. We can not wait to go back!”

Ate lots of good food and just over all had a wonderful time being all together. Ages from 2 to 87. 4 generations. We all loved every minute. Thank you for sharing your home.”

“My oldest son and I traveled to SC for a few days and wanted to stay somewhere close enough to attractiins, but not in the heart of them. This was a cozy, clean, well taken care of little piece of heaven tucked away. The owners are friendly and attentive if needed. Would recommend a stay here.”

“Really well taking care of”

“There are many positive things about this house. The location is great - quick walk to the beach and right on the beach access road. Several bedrooms, including a good mix of king and bunk beds. Two dining tables are nice for eating, playing games, etc. Linens are provided without an extra charge, which is nice. We didn't use the pool or outdoor bar area, but they looked nice. Overall, though, we found the house to be in need of some TLC and a deep clean. Walls and baseboards are dingy. Kitchen……

“Cottage cute and as expected. Owners communicated well verbally and in writing. Stayed 3 nights very comfortably…beach right across the street! We rated everything 5 stars…and we think it would be helpful if a few extra supplies were on hand, ie paper towels, tissue. Thank you to the owners…we left a shell with our initials to add to your very large collection!”

“Cute, clean cottage. Perfect size getaway for a couple. The deep front porch with the beautiful furniture was the highlight of the house for us. We spent every morning and every evening out there, and we spent an entire rainy day on the porch. The golf cart is great. It makes getting to the beach quick and getting around Ocean Lakes easy. The owner responds immediately to even the most minor inquiries and is very easy to work with.”

“Getaway girls weekend trip it was so nice and boring. Everyone was so kind including the staff. The hotels were very clean. I got a free upgrade to the tower building in oceanfront view. That was very kind of them many stores around the area you can walk to the 10 minute walk from the boardwalk, five minute walk to the beach activities all day. They have a bar at the hotel with good alcoholic beverages, and drinks as well. ”
