"We had an enjoyable time during our stay waking up with a great Mt Fuji view. The service is good and communication is not an issue. The location is amazing for a good unblocked view of Mt Fuji from the room/hotel. It is also walkable to the Gotemba Premium Outlet. There is an in-house public onsen and resting area. Private onsen is also available at a price (per hour). We drove during our trip, so the parking is availability and convenience is very important. The only downside we observed during our trip is the heavy traffic during the day. It might be because the route was also shared with the Premium Outlet."

"Great stay! The staff are all so lovely and there are so many activities to enjoy. It was quite rainy for our Fuji stay so we spent a lot of time in the hotel and there was always something to do. The best hotel we’ve stayed at in Japan so far and one of my favourite hotels ever. "

Wish We’d Stayed Longer

"The service was hands-down the best I’ve ever experienced from a hotel. We only stayed one night, but we were still treated well. The lady who served us a traditional Japanese style dinner was very polite and fun. She made us feel at ease. Of course the food tasted phenomenal, especially the Wagyu beef. The Japanese garden is expansive and serene. It even has a foot bath. Both the 10F and the 1F onsens were fantastic. The bedding and pillows were also extremely comfortable. Our room had a private onsen with a view of Fujisan (when the clouds weren’t covering it). I’d say the private onsen was worth it. The staff have varying abilities to speak English, but we had no issues. Solving how to find transportation to the ryokan was a bit difficult for the first time. We took a bus from Tokyo Station, which might be easiest, although you are limited to one checked bag and you need to find the right bus stop. You may want to ship your bags if you have more luggage. If we hadn’t done that, we’d have taken the Fuji Excursion train from Tokyo. Once we made it to Fujisan aka Mt. Fuji Station, though, we simply used the pay phone inside the station to call the hotel to request a pickup shuttle."

Excellent hotel..very impressed

"I booked this hotel only very late the night before check in, was a little concerns but I was pleasantly surprised. Room was small but nice, very comfortable, good WiFi , service was great and they even had small men’s onsen..would recommend if only thing you need is place to rest comfortably whilst your out and about doing the local sightseeing "
