「Cottage was as described except the bushes in the back yard have grown so the lawn is in the shade most of the day and you can only see the small part of the lagoon shown in the photo unless you walk down to the gate that says private property (to nextdoor), from where you can see the rest of the lagoon and the toilet blocks next to the ramp that the Sea Quest bioluminescence kayakers launch from. Yard was too cool to sit out in in the evenings in mid July, as no fires allowed, but the location...

「It was such a lovely and cozy cabin, made even more special with the relaxing hot tub. We really appreciated all the thoughtful touches—like the charming duck collection and the variety of board games—which added so much character and made our stay extra enjoyable. Every little detail showed how much care was put into creating a welcoming and comfortable space」

「We had a wonderful stay on Orcas Island! The house had plenty of space, was stocked with everything you could need, and the views from the deck were terrific. Jason was a great host! I would recommend this house!」

「My family had a great stay at West Beach resort. Cabin was great with all we need, right on the beach. It was amazing to spend evenings around fire place and to hear t waves. Very relaxing. It was nice to have convince store at resort to buy coffee or other basics. Everyone was very friendly. We loved it. 」

「This is a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. We had a wonderful retreat. My husband does RC boats and daily enjoyed his hobby. I delighted in the hanging quilts and art . Everything we needed was there. There were even extra batteries if the remote needed them! We will definitely be returning. 」

「This place is awesome! Might have been my kids favorite part of the whole trip (and we visited 3 national parks ). The inside was the perfect space for our family, comfortable and very well appointed. Outside was stellar. Grill, hot tub, plenty of places to sit and unwind, paddle boards and koi fish to feed. My husband and I loved relaxing outside and watching our kids have so much fun in the paddle boards. Highly recommend this place!!」

「We really enjoyed our stay here. Having lived on the island I knew the neighbors and ran into them as they picked blackberries on the backyard hedges. The views are amazing, it's located right near Dog Woods and Kelly's Point. The rooms and cabin was beautiful and clean. Well stocked and absolutely perfect for 2-3 people. The expansive lawn and yard was fantastic to spend time in.It was hard to keep it cool during the day. There weren't screens on all windows so we had some issues with bugs...

「We love spending time as a family on Lopez Island and Rich and Amy’s place makes that possible. It’s more suited to families with children than 7 adults. Only one bedroom has a closet where it’s possible to hand clothes and one other has a dresser. We stayed 8 days living out of suitcases. The bathrooms are ok and functional, and the kitchen is small but well stocked. The deck is spacious and the distant view is lovely.
