Gulf Gate Estates Beach Hotel

"This is more of a motel than a hotel....the rooms are accessed from the outside and the amenities are sparse. However, having said that, it is one of the better values in the Sarasota Siesta Key area. Just keep your expectations realistic. The included breakfast is nothing more than a selection of bagels....with coffee, juice, etc. That's about it. "We enjoyed our stay here. We cooked in the kitchen, used the laundry room (which was clean) and parking was easy. Good grocery store and a couple good restaurants an block away. It is basic appearing on the outside but inside was updated, comfy beds. There is traffic noise, but we got used to that. Kim was very responsive and helpful. Thanks!"
