“We were assigned a room in the old motel building (separate from the main building) which I didn’t even know existed when making the reservation because it’s barely visible in the background of one of the exterior pictures. Fortunately it was updated, clean and the beds were comfortable. The bath/shower could use some additional updating though. The shower head was small and lacked water pressure. “An enjoyable stay at the Beach Inn. The room was extremely clean with a comfortable bed & a good supply of towels, which was appreciated as there was no housekeeping. As others have said, the bathrooms are very much in need of updating, but again it was very clean. Breakfast was more than adequate to start the day and the coffee was hot and fresh. The view of Lake Superior & being able to sit near the lake was a treat.”

“This was a locally owned property that Quality Inn bought and updated a bit. So there are some motel rooms and some hotel rooms on this property. The first night we were put in a motel room. I don’t typically stay in a motel room but I liked that our car could be parked right in front of our door. This room was a bit dated but it was clean, cool, and beds were comfy enough. We were only there for one night.
Then some plans had changed so we decided to go back and stay three more nights. This……
