「The property far exceeded our expectations, clean, tidy and warm, it is located in a quiet location on the grounds away from the main house any you feel like your totally self contained. The owner lets you be, and sent just a couple of courteous emails in case we wanted things like change of towels. the property is only about 7min drive to the centre of Canterbury. 」

「The hotel has recently been refurbished but still has the ‘old’ side which you can select the room for stay if you are interested in this historic experience. Those rooms will be available for cheaper prices as well. I chose to stay at the ‘newer’ side for my accommodation this time as they are usually more comfortable for a good night sleep. I was correct and the room looks amazing and spacious too! What a wonderful refurbishment with great designs. Staff were also very helpful and friendly...

「it is in the old town center and just next to the main attractive points like cathedral. as it is a building over 500 years old, so no lift but wooden stairs only (but this is the reason i stay here). Shared toilet and bathroom is good (and you can enjoy the cathedral view when you are "relaxing"). 」

「Overall it's good. The service is excellent, and the room is cosy. But there was only one drawback which we met a private party. Therefore, the spa, Sunna cannot used as much as we can.」

「We were welcomed and walked to the room by a lovely lady called Lois. She wished me happy birthday and was aware of all dietary requirements and dinner plans. She also informed us we had been upgraded (a massive upgrade btw!) we are so happy with the room/ house haha ! Food was amazing last night and we had such fun exploring the grounds and getting cozy in the room. All of the staff seem so happy to talk to you and are very kind. We will be back or will come to another pig property !!!! Thanks...

「Brilliant stay from the beginning, reception staff friendly and attentive. The room was beautiful, and very cosy (four poster bed). It was old fashioned in style but I think that was the point, and it works very well. It was a lovely mix of modern and old. The bathroom was huge, and still had original plumbing features (vintage taps etc) but were brilliantly preserved. Easy to get a taxi into Folkestone harbour (5 pound each way). Not a lot of parking but there is free parking a 2 minute walk...
