Exploring the back roads will lead you to some pretty amazing wineries and gorgeous sights of the hill country. One quick thing. "Our stay was very comfy !! It was an amazing couples getaway ! They went above and beyond to provide everything needed for a get away in the Texas hill country ! We had a personal fire pit for the cold evening ! Inside we had a comfy bed with an amazing view outside to all of the wild life !! Roaming free they had longhorns,ducks,chcikens,and black buck deer! Some of the key things that we had inside were fridge and freezer coffee maker large kitchen sink ! And a 4 in 1 air fryer /microwave!...

"Absolutely loved our stay at Zannabella! We originally booked for one night but it was so spectacular we were fortunate to be able to book another cabin for an additional night. The owners are so warm and kind they make you feel at home and are by far the most attentive and available hostess we have ever experienced in all our B & B stays. "The scenery driving to this place was beautiful! So many hill country views and deer! The property itself was very nice and clean, I wish I had more time to spend there! A perfect weekend getaway. About 20 minutes from Kerrville and on a good day about 45 to SA. Perfect location to do a little both antiquing and storefront shopping."

"We got away for our anniversary. Picked the perfect place to stay. Very comfortable and the host was so helpful with recommendations. There are several areas to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather. We will stay here again and will recommend to our friends."

"The property is nestled in the Medina mountains in an 11 room resort and spa. The owners met with us each night sharing stories, laughs, wine and food. In the morning we hiked up the mountain trail to a cabin with a back deck that overlooked the hillside. If you want peace, quiet, no children and good old fashion conversation you will not find any better than Escondida Resort. The entire staff is humble, courteous and good people to share a cup of coffee or a laugh. I highly recommend this...

"Not a fan, wouldn't stay again. Stayed in the Alden Haus, suite 2. Room was clean, bed was pretty comfortable, bring a fan or something for sound because it is eerily quite at night plus you can hear the people in the other room (we could even hear them use the bathroom). They need better curtains, if your light is on when it's dark congrats everyone can see clear into your room! Hot tub area needs to be cleaned, I get it's an closed in area outside but it wouldn't hurt to dust or sweep it out...
