「Our stay was awesome, we were welcomed as soon as we arrived. The building is over 100 years old and is a gorgeous representation of a mansion from that time period. We were given a brief history of the property. Our room was really nice. The complimentary social hour and breakfast was pleasant. Breakfast was good. I would absolutely stay here again.」

The room and common areas were clean and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and I only regret that we couldn’t finish the generous portions. Would definitely reccomend!」

「Unique train - what I expected- terrible price for 2 people - no fridge no coffee pot nothing to drink for the included “breakfast” of muffins. Shower needed cleaned. Toilets wobbly. Carpets and furniture sticky & smelly due to age. Hoped for better but was prepared. Luckily only stayed the night before a cruise.」

「A very unique experience that our family enjoyed. The Silverfoot is quite big. We had plenty of room for two adults and 4 kids. Wandering around the rail yard after hours is really fun. Location is very good. Easy to walk to the Strand and the sea wall. Getting in and out of the property can be a bit tedious as you have to call the caretaker to unlock the gates but he’s very responsive. The guest fees go to help support the rail museum which we liked. Overall we would recommend and would stay...
