“No free breakfast”

“This isn’t a 4 star hotel. It’s a 3 at best. Rooms are old, dark and dirty. The hot water was inconsistent. I needed change for a $100 and asked the front desk. They told me they couldn’t break it and to head to the restaurant. The restaurant told me to go to the front desk…not very helpful. And they didn’t service the room so when I returned in the late evening my bed was unmade, there was no coffee and the towels were wet. I also stayed at the Marriott Marquis on this trip and it was WAY……

“We had the Morrow room - which was lovely. However, I am only 5 foot tall and the mirror in the bathroom was hung for taller individuals. I could only see my eyes - yikes. I was however able to solve the problem with another mirror that was hung in the room that I took down and sat on the floor to put on my makeup. On another note, My husband uses a CPAP at night and the outlet by the bed was connected to the wall lights so if you turn off the lights - then the CPAP wouldn't work. We……

“Property was a great experience for me overall. Quiet neighborhood and easy to access. Kitchen was well equipped and place had plenty of space and had an overall feeling that the owners cared about their guests. If you only book major hotels normally, places like this are a great escape from the usual antiseptic corporate feeling locations.”

“Overall great stay and would stay again. However, dog hair was all over the floors throughout the unit. Other than that, no complaints.”
