This was the coziest most wonderful stay we've had on our trip yet and we'll definitely be back. Located a mere 4 minute walk from the train station and a 1 minute from the beach this was the low key break we needed. The stay was clean with great amenities. The foot bath and soaking tub were great ways to end each day and the locality to nearby convenience stores made grabbing a bevvie……

“The homeowner very courteously met us at the train station and escorted us to the house. The house itself is a wonderful, nicely appointed traditional Japanese home, and quite spacious with a great kitchen and modern bathroom. It's an easy walk to the beach and to the train station, and there are plenty of restaurants in the area to choose from. Ito is only one stop away on the train, with many more restaurants, and Atami is fairly close as well. Very clean. Highly recommended. ”

“清潔感があり、1階のオーナーは気さくな方で必要な物などは相談に乗ってくれるみたいです。鍵の受け取り方法は日程が近くなったらサイトを通じて連絡があることは把握しておくと良いと思います。疑問があればサイトを通じて問合せをしたら丁寧に回答をして頂けます。連泊時にタオル交換はされてませんでしたので、オーナーに声をかければ交換してくれるんだろうとは思いましたが、手持ちのタオルがあったので使用しました。駐車場1台分なので、車2台以上の方はオーナーに駐車場事情などを確認すると良いと思います。”

"日式的房間，有由兩張單人床褥拼貼的一張雙人床，床前有一個日式客廳，活動空間十足。進入酒店室內範圍要脫鞋，室內地方清潔，即使赤腳走動，亦覺舒適。浴室水壓足夠，花灑亦夠力且十分舒適。酒店提供免費停車位或者免費接駁到車站。溫泉分室內和室外，十分好。"

"We had an amazing stay at Hakone Hotel Kowaki-en. Since its recent renewal, the hotel feels incredibly modern, clean, and welcoming. The highlight was definitely the open-air hot spring on the top floor—soaking in the onsen while taking in the stunning mountain views was pure bliss. The buffet was another pleasant surprise; both breakfast and dinner offered a fantastic variety of fresh seafood, sashimi, and even free-flowing drinks. Location-wise, it’s highly convenient as the bus stop is right in front of the property. The staff were attentive, and the overall ambiance was peaceful. It's an excellent half-board choice for anyone looking to unwind in Hakone. Highly recommended!"

"I would recommend this hotel!! This is a very nice and glamorous hotel, and worth the price. Wifi's working very well. The location is great, just next to the train stations and the bus station. We saw Mt. Fuji from our room and the restaurant on the 13/F. Unfortunately, there was a typhoon, the weather was a bit cloudy and it blocked the Fuji San, so we needed to stay in the hotel for half a day, but the room is very comfortable, so we actually didn't mind. We also used the gym room, there were a treadmill and an elliptical. Restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast's good."
