“The staff were warm and welcoming, and so excited to see my adorable kitty. The room was pet friendly including fabric on the sofa that was scratch proof. The only issue is that the sink cabinet is not fully enclosed. It has an opening large enough for a cat to jump inside and hide. This was extremely concerning when it first happened. #appalachianechoes This picture is of the Mystery Hill sign in Boone. I took this picture because it reminds me of the time my parents brought me to Boone for a short vacation. We visited Mystery Hill and it is something I think about when describing this region. It is a picture that I feel many people from the region have in their minds from a previous visit or an outsider may feel for a similar place from their hometown. I chose to only take a picture of the sign because it is more direct than a picture of the Mystery Hill building.
